Wow...it's been a long time since my last post, sorry about that!
Well we all arrived back in Pittsburgh on January 10th and our first show was January 14th. So far we've had 5 shows already and we have a show tomorrow. It's going to be a busy few months that's for sure! So far the shows have gone really well and, Praise be to God, many lives have been changed! :-) After all, that is what it's all about :-)
These last couple of days we've been bouncing between Mississippi and Louisiana. We were able to visit New Orleans both Thursday and today, which was a fun time just sight-seeing and hanging out in the city. Delicious coffee and beignets were had at the famous Cafe Du Monde, the Mississippi River was walked along, shops were explored, and many sidewalks were trampled upon. It was a good visit :-)
In the midst of all the hustle and bustle of shows here and shows there, it is so refreshing to have 'off' days to see the local color and and take the day at our own leisure. Praise the Lord for restful days, and for his grace and strength that he gives us for each new day.
Going back a few weeks...break was amazing :-) It was wonderful to just be home and have the time to just relax and do whatever haha. I was able to go stay with Scott and Tiffany for a week after Thanksgiving where I played Nanny for Colton :-) My gramma and great gramma came too, so it was pretty awesome :-) I was able to go visit Taylor's family with him a couple of times, it's always good to see his family. I saw friends, got snowed in, played with my dog Callie. I was able to spend really amazing quality time with my family, which I wouldn't trade for the world. I went up to Erie and stayed with Sarah and Nate a couple of times. Yeah...as you can see, I did quite a bit over my break. It was awesome. It was exactly what I needed after the first part of tour, and before this second part. It was a good time of reflection and a time of getting ready for now.
These coming months are going to be very busy, as we have 3-4 shows a week. So I would like to ask you to be praying for strength for me in all ways. It is going to be tiresome, and sometimes stressful, but I serve a God who is much bigger than all of that, and I trust that He will see me through. God is Good :-)
Please, also be praying for my future...for what's next. I want to follow God's plan for my life, and that begins with listening. So please pray that I would be sensitive to God's voice and be obedient when I hear his call.
Thank you all so much for following me in my journey and praying for me along the way. I appreciate you all so much. God knew what he was doing when he blessed my life with all of you...I couldn't be more thankful :-)
Love in Christ
